Fall 2023

The Fall Scout season began with a Patrol Leaders Council where they received leadership training and planned out some of the activities for the year. Later in September, the Troop had an Eagle Court of Honor for a Scout who earned this prestigious award.

In November, the Troop had their largest Pancake Breakfast ever followed by a successful Tree Sale in December.

Camping trips brought the Scouts to Camp Big Mac, Sugarloaf Mountain and Walkersville Watershed. The Troop finished out the year with their Holiday Party, where each Scout brought in a small item, all wrapped up, for another Scout to attempt to open.

Spring-Summer 2022

The Century Troop has been busy this year. After participating in Goshen, Rodney, and Philmont over the summer, the Troop helped complete three Eagle Scout projects during the winter. While the Scouts will see these new Eagle Scouts head off to college, the Century Troop is happy that several plan to continue as University Reserve Scouters, helping the Troop when home on vacation. Additionally, the Troop is excited to welcome several new Scouts, some brand new to BSA and some continuing on from Cub Scout dens, joining the Troop for next year’s adventures.
